ENERGY SAVING
Architects, Engineers, and Owners often assume that box headers are insulated. They often are not due to the logistics and scheduling of construction trades. Pre-insulated E-Beam TM  has a heat retaining value of R 24 for a 6-inch wall while a typical uninsulated box header has an R value of close to zero.

SUPERIOR STRENGTH
Built from high quality galvanized steel channels, E Beam TM  has superior strength to typical steel box headers. The insulation foam helps transfer wind load so the front and back channels work as a composite section, gaining strength and rigidity over the empty steel configuration of a traditional box header.

MOLD & MILDEW RESISTANT
The insulated double steel channel eliminates the possibility of weather-related water damage which may cause warping or promote mildew or mold growth. Polystyrene foam insulation will not absorb water, discouraging growth of mold or mildew.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Made of recycled galvanized steel and recycled foam, E Beam TM  meets LEED requirements for recycled material.

PRE-ENGINEERED

E-Beam TM  headers can be ordered to exact required dimensions. This saves costly construction time and labor. E-Beams can also be easily cut in the field if dictated by job conditions.
